Before the first toast

A few things to know.

Is this a physical game?

No. You receive digital files. Print the character cards and evidence at home; no physical items are shipped.

How many people can play?

This case is designed for six players. Plan around 60–90 minutes, plus time to prepare and read the instructions.

What makes the personalized version different?

Your six first names or nicknames replace the preset character names. Roles, motives, and the solution stay fixed so the clues remain consistent. The characters’ secrets are fictional.

Do we need costumes or acting skills?

No. Come as you are, or dress for an elegant dinner. Read your role, follow the prompts, and enjoy questioning your fellow suspects.

Can we play both editions as separate mysteries?

Both editions contain the same case and solution. Choose one for your group; personalization does not create a new mystery.

Does the host have to know the answer?

The kit is planned with the solution separated from setup materials so the host can avoid spoilers. Follow the final product’s host instructions before distributing files.

Everybody has a story

One of them doesn’t add up.
